Hi all,
Thanks for dropping by.
It's been a while since we've put out a full length project. Out last project was "HOMEGROWN" which our concept was to put out a mixtape and an EP at the same time.
The idea was great, we had enough material to go round and we ended up with some pretty decent tracks. You can listen to the entire tape on our youtube page :

The HOMEGROWN EP can be found on all major digital distributors such as iTunes, Amazon, Zune, Spotify etc...
So back to the story, we hired DJ Smoke to do the mix-work from Chicago although we're in Switzerland and paid him upfront to handle both projects (BIG NO-NO). The result was the following : we weren't given the project on time and his mixing technique removed all stereo imaging therefore translating every song to MONO. WTF!?!?!??!? The deal included shipping us physical copies of the CD's, digital distribution, promo BLA BLA BLA...we received ripped covers, broken jewel cases and just overall disappointing...
Since then, we've tried to better our craft by mainly requesting instrumentals from people in our entourage and improving the quality of the mixes and hopefully finding a talented local DJ to do the future mixing of our compilations/mixtapes/EP's/Albums...I was fortunate to have met with DJ Score through an old job of mine where I ran a Zoo York shop. He came in as a total stranger, I hooked homie up SICK-LIKE and we hit it off. Grabbed dude's number and just chatted here n there. Since then, he was able to hook us up with an internet radio interview which was cool. Met up some photographers (who coincidentally was the brother of a colleague at the store I worked in!). This Score cat moves around quite well in the area. He's a french native mainly working in Geneva and about but dude is always working. So hopefully, we can get him to mix our shit up.
We've recorded countless tracks since HOMEGROWN and we're confident to say that we've improved, progressed and starting to find a signature sound. Which in my opinion is the difficult part, finding your own style and making it recognizable (all that without trying too hard to scream for attention like most artists do nowadays).
So all this just to say that we are currently pushing our latest track #GOLD over a record produced by K-Note (Synths, piano) and myself Ivy (Drums). We hooked with some very talented video artists, Pierre Ballenegger and Gael Tran the dynamic duo! As a part of their group launch, they agreed to do our first music video which is currently being edited (literally as we speak!) and we can expect a release in a few weeks. I'm not too fond of giving dates out of fear to not meet the deadline and I have no intention on dissapointing the few people who actually follow our gig! So I'm just going to say that it is being prepared, it will come out soon but you will have to stay patient attentive!
I've found out today that a friend is launching a Vodka brand here in Switzerland and has exclusive rights to distribute! And guess what, they have an edition called "GOLD" which oddly resembles the concept of our song! HAHA I will try to push this forward and try to get them to endorse us. Since it is a young brand, I think it would really fit us. We would then push their brand forward in all future videos, events, etc...I think it's a win-win situation. Especially that I'm not looking for cash, I'm looking to professionally link up with a company. This means that the brand does not have put any cash down, all I'm saying is provide a few bottles here n there, bring some lovely ladies with banners to our shows and you will benefit from being there!
*FINGERS CROSSED*
So guys, stick around we will be doing it big!
Stay tuned...
